Patricia has been artistically gifted since childhood. In college she majored in Business Management and Computer Science instead of Fine Arts in order to attain a more prosperous professional career. Landing a job in a Fortune 500 company, her former career focused on management in financial systems applications.

Patricia’s passion for art re-emerged when life events turned tragic. Her daughter Jennifer sustained a catastrophic injury at birth leaving her permanently disabled. Jennifer was cared for at home and later died; leaving a scar that will forever remain in
Patricia’s heart.

In 1996, she made some drastic life changes, including leaving a solid career to return to her artistic passion. As a self-taught artist, Patricia began attending decorative art workshops and courses nationwide in order to increase her knowledge. She was fortunate to have studied under highly recognized Master Artisans and concentrated on developing her own artistic style while learning their trusted methods.

In 2000, she opened Stein Design, a Decorative Arts Home Studio specializing in faux finishes and hand painted artistry. In 2006, she opened a public studio for painting and display of her fine artwork on canvas.

Patricia has a 9-year-old daughter and two sons, ages 14 and 16. When not painting, she enjoys spending time with her children or working on community related projects.
